Application Guidelines
Application is open to advanced music students and young professionals. String players, pianists, singers and pre-formed ensembles can apply for CMC with a video audition. Experience with period instruments is not required for application, however, participants should be ready to play on a collection of historical keyboards, tune their instruments to A=430 and put gut strings on them while participating in CMC. Applicants will be notified of their results by April 1, 2025. Accepted students will be notified of their assigned repertoire to prepare for masterclasses and faculty/student recitals by May 1, 2025.
Audition Requirements:
Applicants should prepare a video audition of two works, or substantial movements from two works, that make contrasting technical and interpretive demands on the player.

Program fee for CMC:
All accepted students will receive a scholarship that covers their cost of attendance.
CMC will provide accommodations (double occupancy), a light breakfast and lunch
Participants are responsible for paying for their travel costs.
